Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how SkinGlo handles information when you use the SkinGlo iOS application and this website. SkinGlo is a personal skin journal and pattern-tracking tool.

02

Information stored on your device

Your personal journal information is stored locally on your device. Depending on what you choose to use or record, this may include:

  • skin check-ins and focus concerns;
  • sleep, stress, and everyday food exposures;
  • skincare routines, changes to those routines, and routine history;
  • Glo Score and progress history;
  • profile and reminder preferences; and
  • baseline and weekly skin photos.

In the current product architecture, SkinGlo does not upload these journal entries or skin photographs to a cloud account or server owned by SkinGlo.

Information stored on your device may still be affected by operating-system features and services outside SkinGlo’s control, such as device backups, transfers, shared-device access, or loss of the device. Your use of those features is governed by the relevant provider’s terms and settings.

03

Subscription and purchase information

Subscriptions are purchased through Apple’s App Store. SkinGlo uses RevenueCat to help determine subscription status and membership entitlement.

RevenueCat may process information needed to provide that service, including:

  • purchase and subscription history;
  • Apple transaction or receipt information;
  • subscription status;
  • device and operating-system technical information; and
  • service timestamps needed to operate subscription services.

SkinGlo does not receive your full payment-card details from Apple. See the Apple Privacy Policy↗ and RevenueCat Privacy Policy↗.

04

Notifications

If you grant permission, SkinGlo may schedule notifications you choose or enable, such as a daily check-in reminder, weekly photo reminder, weekly recap, or insights and milestone notifications. Available notification options may change as the product develops, and not every notification is necessarily enabled by default.

You can change notification permission in iOS Settings. You can also adjust available reminder preferences inside SkinGlo.

05

Photos

Photos you select or capture for SkinGlo are used for visual journal comparison. SkinGlo does not perform biometric identification, diagnose skin conditions from photos, or generate a medical skin score from images.

06

How information is used

Local app information is used on your device to provide your journal and history, Glo Score, Progress, possible personal pattern observations, routine tracking, reminders, and selfie comparisons.

Subscription information is used to determine whether a SkinGlo membership is active, restore purchases, and maintain entitlement and access.

07

Third-party services

SkinGlo uses Apple services, including the App Store and StoreKit, and RevenueCat for subscription operations. These providers operate under their own privacy terms and may handle information independently of SkinGlo.

08

Data retention

Local SkinGlo journal data remains on your device until you delete it through SkinGlo, or the app or device storage is otherwise removed by you or the operating system.

Subscription-service information may be retained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their respective policies and legal obligations. SkinGlo does not control those providers’ retention periods.

09

Delete your SkinGlo data

To permanently remove the locally stored SkinGlo journal information covered by the app’s deletion feature, open:

Profile→Data & Privacy→Delete my SkinGlo data
Deleting local data does not cancel an App Store subscription.

To manage or cancel, go to iOS Settings, select your Apple Account, then Subscriptions and SkinGlo. Apple may occasionally adjust these labels.

10

Subscription-service data requests

For privacy or data-related requests involving SkinGlo, contact contactskinglo@gmail.com. Where applicable, SkinGlo support can help coordinate RevenueCat-related deletion requests.

SkinGlo cannot promise deletion from Apple systems or take actions that only Apple controls.

11

Children

SkinGlo is not designed specifically for children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information in connection with SkinGlo may contact us at contactskinglo@gmail.com.

12

International processing

Third-party subscription providers may process information in countries different from yours, subject to their own policies and applicable safeguards.

13

Security

SkinGlo takes reasonable measures appropriate to the current architecture. However, no device, storage method, transmission, or service can be guaranteed absolutely secure.

14

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes to SkinGlo, third-party services, or legal requirements. When it changes, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will also be updated.
